Emergency Medical Technician, Nights, Air Care and Mobile Care (AFSCME)

Join our Mobile Care team at UC Health as a part-time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)!

This role involves providing care for a diverse patient population, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within the scope of practice.

About UC Medical Center: UC Medical Center, as part of UC Health, is a historic and leading hospital in Cincinnati, serving the community for nearly 200 years with advanced medical technology and a large team of healthcare professionals.

Unit Details: Air Care & Mobile Care has provided specialized medical transport in the Cincinnati area for over 35 years and is accredited in four levels of medical transport.

Responsibilities: Include patient assessment, holistic care planning, performing lifesaving skills, managing medications, advocating for patients, maintaining safety, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, EMT certification, minimum one year of EMT experience, Ohio EMT-B license, BLS certification, and other relevant certifications. Must be able to operate vehicles safely and make independent clinical decisions.
