Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services is seeking qualified healthcare staff to support detainee health services on a PRN basis. The role includes obtaining medical histories, recording vital signs, and coordinating with physicians for orders, with day, night and weekend shifts.

Must be comfortable with all age groups 0–99. Responsibilities also include assisting with medical appointments, recording contacts, ensuring orders are implemented, and coordinating referrals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical histories and completes necessary paperwork on detainees entering the facilities including vital signs.
• Assists with medical appointments, emergencies and sick call including taking vital signs and documenting detainee medical complaints.
• Documents all detainee contacts, followed by their signature and name stamp.
• Ensures the medical provider’s orders are implemented.
• Coordinates health care needs of detainees with other staff members.
• Coordinates referrals to off-site providers as required.
• Performs record keeping functions in accordance with program policies.

Schedule

• PRN
• Day, Night, and Weekend shifts

Must be COMFORTABLE with all age groups 0-99.

Type Of Work

• Obtains medical histories and completes necessary paperwork on detainees entering the facilities including vital signs. Any medical problems are referred to the Physician, and/or NP/PA.
• Assists with medical appointments, emergencies and sick call to include taking vital signs and documenting detainee’s medical complaints.
• Documents all detainee contacts, followed by their signature and name stamp.
• Ensures the medical provider’s orders are implemented.
• Coordinates health care needs of detainees with other staff members.
• Coordinates referrals to off-site providers as required.
• Performs record keeping functions in accordance with program policies.

Pay: $17.50 + $4.93 /hr
