Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services is seeking healthcare professionals for frontline detainee care at our facilities. This full-time role offers a 48-hour work week, day, night, and weekend shifts, and pay of $17.50/hr plus $4.93 in benefits. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, medical histories, coordinating care with physicians, and maintaining records.

CPR/BLS certification are required, EMT certification is mandatory, NREMT is preferred, and a Tier 4 clearance is needed to start.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required.
• EMT certification required.

• Must have at least one year experience within the last 24 months.
• Tier 4 Security Clearance required to start.
• Must be local.
• Must be COMFORTABLE with all age groups 0-99.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical histories and completes paperwork on detainees entering the facilities including vital signs.
• Assists with medical appointments, emergencies and sick calls including taking vital signs and documenting detainee medical complaints.
• Documents all detainee contacts with signature and name stamp.
• Ensures the medical provider’s orders are implemented.
• Coordinates health care needs of detainees with other staff members.
• Coordinates referrals to off-site providers as required.
• Performs record keeping functions in accordance with program policies.
