Mayo Clinic Ambulance - Austin/Albert Lea, Fairmont or Owatonna, Minnesota, seeks EMT-in-Training for a paid program to prepare candidates for the National Registry exams and EMT certification.

The training requires attendance, achievement of didactic content, skills, and affective domains, and adherence to Mayo Clinic policies. Upon successful completion, participants may apply for full-time EMT positions with Mayo Clinic Ambulance in the listed locations.

Descripción del empleo

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)-in-Training is a paid training position designed to prepare the candidate to successfully pass the National Registry of EMTs exams to become a certified EMT. Candidates in the program must meet all expectations of the training program including but not limited to; attendance, grade requirements for the didactic content, skills, and affective domains, as well as all Mayo Clinic policies. Upon successful completion of the training program applicants would be eligible to apply for a full-time position with Mayo Clinic Ambulance - Austin/Albert Lea, Fairmont or Owatonna.

An EMT is responsible for delivering and administering high-quality care and transportation to ill and injured persons. The EMT must demonstrate clinical competency and compassion in providing for physical and emotional needs of patients.
