Description:

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center, EMS Hartford, CT

You would be responsible for performing specific tasks required for the effective and efficient care of patients in a pre-hospital setting and/or intra-facility transfers.

What you would do:

• Interact professionally with patients, families, hospital staff, the public, and other safety agencies, providing exemplary care and customer service.
• Operate and assist in maintaining company-owned vehicles safely.
• Replenish medical equipment and supplies as needed.

Work Hours/Shift:

• Full time, 12-hour night shifts, with a 36/48 weekly rotation.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; must maintain Continuing Education as required by local Medical Control Authorities and the Department of Consumer & Industry Services.
• Licensed as Emergency Medical Responder, EMT-B; current AHA CPR certification; valid driver's license in good standing in CT; and eligible for driving privileges per company policies.
• Ability to think and act calmly and quickly in emergency situations.
