  • Type: Full time
  • Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform specific tasks for effective and efficient patient care in pre-hospital and intra-facility transfers.
  • Interact professionally with patients, families, hospital staff, and public safety agencies, providing exemplary care and customer service.
  • Operate and assist in maintaining company-owned vehicles safely.
  • Replenish medical equipment and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; ongoing Continuing Education as required by local Medical Control Authorities and the state’s Department of Consumer & Industry Services.
  • Licensed as Emergency Medical Responder, EMT-B; current AHA CPR certification; valid Driver's License in good standing in CT; eligible for driving privileges based on company policies.
  • Ability to think and act calmly and quickly in emergencies.
