Job summary

Total Access Urgent Care in the greater St. Louis area is seeking a full-time EMT to join our high-rated healthcare team. You will perform EMT duties, monitor vital signs, assist with IVs and EKGs, and coordinate with providers to deliver rapid, quality care.

We offer 12-hour shifts (8a–8p), three days per week, with flexible weekday options for classes or family. Requirements include EMT certification, HS diploma, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.

• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform EMT duties including IVs, EKGs, splinting.
• Triage patients to differentiate immediate vs. less urgent care.

• Prepare supplies and maintain sterile environment for treatments.
• Serve as a resource for clinical staff.

Clear Communication

• Pay: Start at $18/hr. Earn an additional $3-$5/hr within 2 years for time and performance achievements.
• Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $1500 tax-free, reimbursed as $100/month over the first 15 months of full employment. Reimbursement is in addition to full-time pay and benefits. You are eligible for reimbursement if you can provide a receipt showing EMT program tuition paid.

Job Description

• Apply splints and wound dressings, prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments including sterilization
• Serve as a resource for other clinical staff

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT, EMT-B, or EMT-I)
• Full-Time (3 days a week)
• 12-hour shifts (no overnights), alternate weekends, alternate holidays
• Driver's License
• Reliable transportation
• Minimum age requirement of 18 years old
• Desire to work in a fast-paced team environment
