Job summary

CORE Occupational Medicine in Litchfield Park, AZ is seeking experienced Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our PRN team. You will respond to emergencies, provide basic first aid, and coordinate with treatment facilities to ensure continuity of care.

Ideal candidates hold EMT state certification or National Registry with reciprocity, current First Aid/CPR/AED, and have strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• EMT certification or NR with reciprocity
• Previous EMT/1st response/911 experience preferred
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; additional certifications are a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients and staff

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies promptly and efficiently
• Provide basic first aid and medical support per policies and regulations
• Assess injuries/illnesses to prioritize care
• Communicate with medical professionals and treatment facilities for further action
• Communicate with site personnel regarding incidents and hazards
• Demonstrate teamwork and adapt to changing worksite environments
• Maintain quality clinical standards at all times
• Document findings and treatments clearly and concisely
• Conduct yourself professionally under stress
• Assist Site Safety Managers in maintaining a safe work environment

We are looking for experienced Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team in the Litchfield Park, AZ, area. This is a PRN position.

Position Responsibilities

• Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly
• Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations
• Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
• Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action
• Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any worksite incidents, hazards, etc.
• Demonstrating a strong orientation towards team work and the ability to understand the importance of team coordinated efforts
• Demonstrating a strong ability to be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards
• Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times
• Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and concisely
• Conducting oneself in a helpful, dignified and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances
• Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the most safe and secure work environment possible

Position Qualifications

• EMT State Certification and/or National Registry; Must provide proof of reciprocity
• Previous EMT experience, 1st response experience or emergency 911 experience preferred
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; Any additional certifications are a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees
