Join Parachute, LLC in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking an EMT-B/EMT-A to join the Center Medical team as an EMT (Physician Substitute). The role focuses on donor health and safety and enhancing the donor experience, in a fast-growing, high-energy setting.

The position is full-time and offers competitive pay ($21–$26/hour) with benefits and potential monthly bonus, plus opportunities for career growth within a rapidly expanding company.

Qualifications

• EMT certification (Advanced or Basic) in state of employment.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Willingness to work weekends as needed.

Responsabilités

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Collaborate with center staff to maintain a positive donor experience.
• Maintain health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross-train in center functions including phlebotomy and station setup.

What You’ll Do

As an EMT (Physician Substitute), you will be a key member of the site’s lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. You’ll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with all center staff
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant
• Beyond your core responsibilities, you will be fully cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education
• Certified/licensed EMT (Advanced or Basic) in the state of employment
  • For EMT-Bs, 1+ year of work experience
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed
