Job summary

CORE Occupational Medicine in Rincon, GA is seeking an experienced EMT-B to join our on-site team. Shifts run on a Dupont schedule from 7am–7pm and 7pm–7am, including weekends.

You will respond to emergencies, provide basic medical care, and coordinate with clients and facilities to ensure safe, compliant operations. Qualified candidates hold EMT State Certification or NREMT with reciprocity, current First Aid/CPR/AED, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• EMT state certification and/or National Registry; must provide proof of reciprocity.
• Previous EMT, 1st response or emergency 911 experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule: days, nights, weekends required.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; any additional certifications are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and employees.

Responsibilities

• Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly.
• Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with policy and regulations.
• Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize procedures.
• Communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities for instructions.
• Communicating with client and site personnel regarding worksite incidents and hazards.
• Demonstrating teamwork and coordination with others.
• Maintaining awareness of changing worksite hazards and environment.
• Ensuring quality clinical standards are practiced at all times.
• Documenting findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
• Maintaining professionalism under stress and in various personal circumstances.
• Assisting Site Safety Managers in maintaining a safe work environment.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly
• Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations
• Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
• Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action
• Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any worksite incidents, hazards, etc.
• Demonstrating a strong orientation towards team work and the ability to understand the importance of team coordinated efforts
• Demonstrating a strong ability to be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards
• Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times
• Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and concisely
• Conducting oneself in a helpful, dignified and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances
• Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the most safe and secure work environment possible

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• EMT State Certification and/or National Registry; Must provide proof of reciprocity
• Previous EMT experience, 1st response experience or emergency 911 experience preferred
• Flexible schedule: Days, Nights, Weekend availability required
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; Any additional certifications are a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees
