Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services is seeking qualified medical personnel to provide detainee health care in a high-demand environment within the United States. The role emphasizes timely medical assessments, vital signs, and coordination with on-site providers.

Applicants should hold EMT-Paramedic certification, CPR/BLS, and a Tier 4 security clearance. Local candidates only. This is a full-time on-site position with a 48-hour work week and shift rotations including day, night, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic certification.
• Tier 4 Security Clearance is required to start.
• Candidate must be local to the area.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical histories and completes necessary paperwork on detainees entering the facilities and records vital signs.
• Assists with medical appointments, emergencies and sick calls, including taking vital signs and documenting detainee medical concerns.
• Documents all detainee contacts, including signature and name stamp.
• Ensures the medical provider’s orders are implemented.
• Coordinates health care needs of detainees with other staff.
• Coordinates referrals to off-site providers as required.
• Performs record keeping in accordance with program policies.

Schedule

• 48-Hour work week
• Day, Night, and Weekend shifts
• Pay: $22.04 + $4.93/hr

Requirements

• CPR/ BLS certification required.
• Must have and maintain current state Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic certification
• Must have at least one year experience within the last 24 months.
• Tier 4 Security Clearance required to start.
• Must be local

Type Of Work

• Obtains medical histories and completes necessary paperwork on detainees entering the facilities including vital signs. Any medical problems are referred to the Physician, and/or NP/PA.
• Assists with medical appointments, emergencies and sick call to include taking vital signs and documenting detainee’s medical complaints.
• Documents all detainee contacts, followed by their signature and name stamp.
• Ensures the medical provider’s orders are implemented.
• Coordinates health care needs of detainees with other staff members.
• Coordinates referrals to off-site providers as required.
• Performs record keeping functions in accordance with program policies.
