Job summary

Tower Health is seeking an EMT to provide pre-hospital care under the supervision of the EMS Supervisor/manager or EMS Director. This role directs patient care at the basic life support level for patients across all ages dependent on illness or injury.

The EMT delivers age-appropriate care for neonates through geriatrics, demonstrates a patient-centered approach, and works with patients, visitors, physicians and other healthcare providers with cooperation, flexibility and resourcefulness.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or highest completed education.
  • PA EMT Certification obtained within 90 days of hire date
  • NIMS 700, 800, 100 & 200 training obtained within 60 days of hire date
  • Hazmat Awareness Training obtained within 60 days of hire date
  • Current Valid Driver's License
  • BLS Certification
  • Emergency Medical Services Vehicle Operator Certification obtained within 90 days of hire date
