With over 120 staff members, our team includes paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians, dispatchers, telephone operators, paratransit vehicle operators, vehicle maintenance staff, and administrative support personnel.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) based in Philadelphia, PA. The Emergency Medical Technician will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and transport to patients. Daily tasks include responding to emergency calls, performing medical assessments, providing first aid and CPR, administering medications, and operating emergency vehicles. EMTs will also be responsible for maintaining medical equipment and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Basic EMT certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, and CPR certification
• Proficient in medical assessments, first aid, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) protocols
• Experience in operating and maintaining medical equipment and emergency vehicles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and work collaboratively with a team
• Physical stamina and strength for patient transport and emergency response
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in the medical or healthcare field is a plus
