Qualifications

• Completed state-approved EMT training program.
• EMT Advanced course preferred.
• Experience in hospital ED, ambulance, or critical care transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic emergency medical care per protocols and procedures.
• Assist with patient assessment and vital signs under supervision.
• Administer CPR, bandage wounds, control bleeding, and immobilize fractures.
• Operate emergency vehicles safely and follow policy and law.
• Document patient information accurately in EMR.
• Maintain equipment and restock supplies as needed.
• Escalate concerns through proper chain of command.
• Collaborate with paramedics, nurses, and physicians during transfers.
• Maintain attendance and comply with all policies.
