Skills / Requirements

Job Summary

Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) will transport patients via ambulance and provide care according to established treatment protocols and Patient Care Guidelines, both inside and outside hospital settings.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited EMS training program
• EMT Certification in Texas
• Current Texas driver’s license / City of Houston E-Permit
• Basic Life Support certification
• Work experience: preferred 1 year in EMS
• Communication skills: above average verbal, exceptional public speaking, writing/reports
• Proficiency in PC use
