Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Transportation Scheduler/Coordinator for Hunter's Ambulance Service in Meriden, CT. The role supports dispatch to receive, schedule and verify patient transportation needs and coordinates requests from facilities and outside agencies.

You will work day shifts with a steady Monday–Friday schedule and contribute to a high-performing EMS network across the state. The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, strong computer skills, and familiarity

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in the use of computers and computer programs.
• Medical terminology knowledge or medical related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• This position works closely with our dispatch staff to receive, schedule and verify transportation needs for patients, outside agencies, and also to process facility requests for transportation.
