Job Summary
Responsible for providing high quality pre‑hospital and interfacility advanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatment utilizing standards and guidelines established by HCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMA Medical Director(s). The Emergency Medical Technician will carry out the mission of HCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMA and ensure that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality pre‑hospital and interfacility advanced life support with assessment, triage, and treatment.
- Adhere to standards and guidelines established by HCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMA Medical Director(s).
- Ensure safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum.
- Attend at least 80% of monthly scheduled team meetings.
Qualifications
- Maintain current licensure and certification as a Paramedic in N.C. Office of Emergency.
- Maintain BCLS certification.
- Valid NC driver’s license and be at least 21 years old.
- Maintain FEMA 100, 200, 700, & 800.
- Must have current national registry Emergency Medical Technician certification (preferred).
- Associated degree (preferred).
- Minimum 3‑5 years full‑time experience at the EMT level at a demanding 911 or interfacility transport service.
