Make a Difference When It Matters Most.
At Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC), we show up for pets and the people who love them on some of their hardest days.
If you thrive in fast-paced environments, believe teamwork saves lives, and want to work somewhere your voice truly matters — this could be your place.
EVCC was created by veterinarians, for veterinarians — and for the communities they serve. Founded by 36 local general practice veterinarians (many still actively involved today), we were built to support the veterinary community, not compete with it.
Our Holland hospital is our fifth location and we are proud to bring trusted, emergency‑only care to the region.
But what truly defines EVCC isn’t just what we do — it’s how we do it.
We genuinely care about whoever walks through our doors — whether it’s a critical patient, an anxious pet parent, or a teammate who needs support during a tough shift.
Emergency medicine is intense. It’s emotional. It’s unpredictable.
But it’s also deeply meaningful.
You won’t be “just a tech” here. Your assessment skills, instincts, and voice matter. Our doctors value collaboration. Our leadership team listens. Growth is encouraged, not gatekept.
As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician on our Swing Shift, you’re part of a team that thrives on the front lines of emergency veterinary care, where every second counts. Working during one of our busiest and most dynamic times of day, you'll help bridge daytime and overnight care, ensuring seamless patient treatment and exceptional client support.
This position is designed to improve patient flow by managing stable emergency cases, facilitating discharges, and helping clients receive prompt medical attention.
You’ll handle a wide range of cases, from minor to complex emergencies, collaborating with our doctors and team to deliver gold‑standard, emotionally intelligent care. You’ll jump into triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while being a steady, compassionate presence for pet parents during some of their most stressful moments.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the fast pace and variety of emergency medicine, wants to practice at the top of their license (and beyond), continue growing their skills, and make a meaningful difference for pets and the people who love them when they need it most.
This role requires confidence, resilience, and heart.
We believe people do their best work when they feel valued and supported.
We’d love to meet you.
