Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Some experience working at a kennel or animal hospital preferred.
• May consider an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provides compassionate care to pets.
• Feeds animals as prescribed and records intake and output.
• Recognizes and reports unusual conditions and monitors for distress or disease.
• Assists veterinarians and technicians with pet restraint.
• Maintains hospital cleanliness and sanitizes equipment and facilities.
• Follows a regular schedule for cleaning cages, runs, wards and related areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Manager.
