  • Assist with special event setup and cleanup as a custodial staff member.

Job Summary

  • Clean and maintain assigned areas, including such activities as dusting and clean all surfaces; removing trash and recyclables;
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms and replenishing supplies; clean glass doors, windows, and blinds; clean off graffiti; clean furniture and upholstery; clean light fixtures; polish woodwork and metal surfaces; clean stairwells, walkways, and elevators; and perform general housekeeping.
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, spot clean and full clean of carpets
  • Provide custodial support, including activities such as responding to custodial/clean emergencies.
  • Serve as a special event custodian; participating in campus event set-up and clean up.

Shift times: Monday - Thursday, 5pm - 1:30am, Friday 4pm - 12:30 am OR Monday - Thursday 7:00 pm - 3:30am, Friday 4pm - 12:30 am

Education and Experience

  • Any combination of training, experience, and/or education sufficient to demonstrate the required skills listed above.

Licenses, Certificates, Credentials

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain by date of hire.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $19.97 - $22.05 per hour

Classification Range: $19.97 - $27.42 per hour

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Anticipated Hiring Range referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
