Job summary

Job Summary

University Housing is seeking full-time custodians. These positions receive full benefits.

Must be willing to work weekends.

Full-time schedule: 8 hours on Saturday, 8 hours on Sunday, and three 8 hour weekday shifts.

Daily work hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Duration: Permanent Full-Time Position

This position provides general cleaning and custodial care and support for assigned campus buildings, facilities, structures and adjacent areas, including, but not limited to, student residences, offices, locker rooms, patios, entryways and walkways, and workshops. Custodial staff may work independently or as part of a custodial team. Weekend work required.

Department Summary

University Housing, a unit within the Division of Student Affairs, consists of Facilities Operations, Housing Administration, Custodial Operations, Diversity and Inclusion, and Residential Student Experience. University Housing provides a premier living and learning experience for over 8800 students in residence hall and apartment-style communities. University Housing’s mission is to create a diverse and engaging experience that inspires all residents to Learn by Living.

Salary and Benefits

Anticipated Hiring Range: $44,076 - $52,680 Per Year

Classification Range: $41,532 - $57,024 per year
