Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, seeks a Clinical Research Assistant to support HealthNow in the Emergency Department. You will interview patients, collect health histories, and coordinate point-of-care testing with strict confidentiality.

You will assist with recruitment, data entry, and workflow improvements across clinical research studies, collaborating with PI and care teams to ensure high-quality data and patient engagement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Health Sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience required.
• 0 years of relevant experience required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Screen patients and receive referrals for HealthNow program activities.
• Approach patients and explain HealthNow program processes/services.
• Consent and enroll participants in eligible research studies.
• Complete system approved point-of-care tests for diagnostic screening and discuss results with patients.
• Refer patients to next level of care or linkage services as indicated.
• Collect and provide relevant data for eligibility assessments in protocols.
• Assist with informed consent process and data audits.
