Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Health and Nutrition Technical Advisor for Emergency Response in South Sudan. The role focuses on leading nutrition and health program delivery within International Projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

The incumbent will train local health teams, supervise medicine distribution, and support proposals and budgets with field assessments to drive impactful, sustainable interventions.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree/diploma or clinical medicine qualifications with a valid license.
• 2–3 years nursing or clinical experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily implementation of nutrition and health initiatives within the International Projects team.
• Oversee distribution, storage, and use of medicines and nutrition supplies with regular audits.
• Train and mentor local health-care teams on clinical protocols and safe commodity handling.
• Generate monthly usage reports and collaborate to close service gaps.
