Emergency Telecommunicator Services in Huachuca City, AZ seeks Fire Dispatcher professionals to coordinate responses to fires, rescues, and other emergencies. You receive incident information, alert resources, and maintain radio communication for responding crews.

This role requires organized information handling, accurate data entry, maps literacy, and the ability to follow established plans. Candidates may work varied shifts including overnights, weekends, and holidays, with training provided

Qualifications

• Experience handling incident information with accuracy and speed.
• Ability to use maps, databases, and radio communications in real time.
• Familiarity with dispatch protocols and data-entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document reports of fires, rescues, alarms, and hazardous conditions
• Verify incident locations, access information, and reported risks
• Alert stations and dispatch apparatus using approved response assignments
• Monitor radio channels, unit availability, and incident status
• Relay information about occupants, hazards, and changing conditions
• Process requests for additional resources through established procedures
• Coordinate mutual-aid communications when assigned
• Record dispatch times, unit movements, and significant incident updates
