Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care in a Missouri hospital. You will perform nursing assessments, plan, implement and evaluate care, and coordinate with the care team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of acute care experience, current RN licensure, and strong skills in medication administration, documentation, and teamwork. BCLS is required; ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure required (state licensure and/or Compact State Licensure).
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nursing process and patient care.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and policies.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR/ code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control protocols and document care.
• Document care promptly in the medical record and participate in quality initiatives.
