Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of dispatch or related communications experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments while managing priorities and sensitive information.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening.
• Preferred: 911 dispatch experience.
• Familiarity with records management, report preparation, and administrative support functions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate 911 emergency lines, administrative telephone systems, fire/security alarms, and CCTV systems.
• Receive, track, document, and maintain accurate chronological records of incidents and emergency events.
• Support emergency preparedness and response efforts, including reporting for duty during hurricanes, disasters, and declared emergencies.
• Maintain flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends, holidays, and other assigned duties as required.
• Other duties as assigned
