Job summary

Collin County Community College is seeking a dispatcher to provide district-wide police communications and dispatch services. You will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, monitor the Avigilon video management system, and coordinate with officers to support campus safety.

Responsibilities include maintaining radio contact, documenting incidents, generating maintenance requests, and assisting visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one year of related customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to answer emergency and non-emergency calls and document information accurately.
• Bilingual/multilingual candidates preferred; strong communication skills a must.

Responsibilities

• Maintain police dispatch visibility and readiness across shift.
• Answer all emergency and non-emergency calls and document details for supervisor.
• Monitor Avigilon video management system and coordinate with officers on patrol.
• Maintain radio contact with campus officers and relay information quickly and accurately.
• Prepare incident reports, protective orders, and related records; assist with admin tasks.
