Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking an Emergency Room Technician in Indianapolis to greet and orient patients, perform cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation, and assist security access to the Emergency Department. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Successful completion of arrhythmia recognition course, as assigned.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift.
• Must be able to attend one week of full time training.

TheEmergency Room Technician is responsible for greeting and orienting patients to the patient care area. They perform cardiac monitoring testing and rhythm interpretation and also provide security access to and from the Emergency Department by monitoring cameras and answering entrance phones. Provides patient care services as stated to the patient. Collaborates with other team members to perform other services as directed.
