Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville, OR seeks an Emergency Services Tech (PRN Shifts) to support ED nursing and physician staff, assisting in patient care with attention to age-specific needs. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to departmental standards within Lifepoint Health’s care network.

The ideal candidate holds an EMT-B, AEMT, Paramedic, or CNA license and a current BLS certification, with the ability to perform phlebotomy and maintain documentation and inventory.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic EMT (EMT-B), Advanced EMT (AEMT), Paramedic License or CNA license preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training completed within three months of hire and maintained as current.

Mansioni

• Provides direct personal care under the supervision of the nurse within the scope of practice of the CNA I or II and Emergency Department Technician.
• Participates as a contributory member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Completes all documentation within departmental requirements and timelines.
• Participates in the responsible management of all departmental/hospital resources.
• Works with the ED team to maintain equipment and supplies and adequate inventory levels.
• Assumes responsibility for meeting annual in-service requirements and ongoing personal development.
• Phlebotomy.
