Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a duly authorized CNA Training program with CNA certification, OR EMT-B certification OR a Nursing Student who has completed Fundamentals of Nursing.
• Current ED experience is preferred.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.
• Must be computer literate and able to read and write basic English.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate care to assigned patients.
• Prepare patient environment for receiving patients.
• Assist patients in the admission, transfer, and discharge process.
