Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and unit coordination during their shift. In collaboration with management, the CNC oversees nursing care, serves as a resource, and models organizational values to support excellent patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

What You Will Do in This Role

• Assist with admissions and discharges to ensure efficient, quality care.
• Participate in quality assessments and collaborate with management to improve services.
• Create a teamwork environment supporting better outcomes.
• Support a patient-first approach and service recovery when needed.
• Implement nursing strategies like employee rounding and hourly rounds.
• Contribute to hiring, training, and evaluating staff; address personnel issues.
• Manage staff scheduling and labor costs.
• Oversee inventory and supplies management.

Qualifications Needed

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 18 months.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 30 days.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in the Emergency Department.
• Charge RN experience.
