Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital seeks a Safety Partner for the Emergency Department in Virginia Beach, VA. You will support a safe environment for patients at risk of suicide, falls, wandering, agitation, and self-harm while maintaining or improving function during the hospital stay. Weekend Days, Full-Time (36hrs) Fri-Sun 7a-7p.

Requires High School diploma; BLS within 90 days. Prior healthcare exposure preferred; mental health background a plus.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS within 90 days of hire is required.
• Healthcare experience preferred; behavioral health background is a plus.
• Core competencies include communication, confidentiality, de-escalation, fall prevention, patient safety, restraints, stroke and suicide.
