Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital in Avon, OH is seeking a dedicated RN Resident for the Emergency Department. The role supports patients and families 24/7, with shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS required upon hire or within one year.
• New grad or limited inpatient RN experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with patients, families and visitors to provide care information and support.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and adjust priorities for patient care based on acuity and resources.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and take corrective action.
• Document accurately in patients’ medical records.
