Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse in Massachusetts to join a close-knit ED team. The role involves completing assessments, administering treatments, and collaborating with physicians to tailor patient care plans.

A graduate of an accredited nursing program and ED experience are required. Eligible candidates will have MA RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/PALS within 6 weeks of hire, and TNCC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Emergency Department experience required.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within 6 weeks of hire.
• TNCC certification, preferred.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observe patients’ progress and evaluate therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health‑care strategy plan for each patient.
• Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes.
