Job summary

Wilson Health is hiring an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for our Sidney, Ohio location. This direct-hire role supports the ED with triage, assessments, and patient care across all ages. 24 hours per week, 1st shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) with every 3rd weekend and holiday.

Reports to the Emergency Department Manager. New grads welcome to apply. The ED RN works closely with physicians, nurses, and staff to deliver efficient, compassionate, evidence-based care while maintaining professional

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Current R.N. license in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification required within one year of hire.
• PALS and TNCC certifications required within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Initiate triage and ongoing assessment of patients’ needs.
• Register patients and complete quick registration processes.
• Formulate and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
• Provide education to patients and families on illness and injury prevention.
• Maintain open communication with patients, families, physicians, and team members.
• Engage in continuing education to maintain competency.
• Provide direction to licensed practical nurses and other staff.
• Perform additional duties within the scope of responsibility.

Education

Associate degree or equivalent / Bachelor’s in Nursing

Ohio RN license

BLS certification

ACLS within 1 year

PALS and TNCC within 2 years
