Job summary

Wayne HealthCare in Greenville, OH, seeks aRegistered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role offers a 36-hour work week with alternating weekends and holiday coverage, and potential cross-training to other departments within the facility.

Ideal candidates hold Ohio RN licensure with a BSN preferred, current BLS, and ER experience. ACLS/PALS are preferred, and a sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants.

Salary Range: $32.55 To $47.60 Hourly

Position:

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This position is working 36 hours per week and required to work every other weekend and holiday requirements. The applicant could be cross-trained to other departments within the facility. The position reports to the Director of Emergency Services. Eligible for Sign On Bonus.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS Certification required
• Previous critical care experience preferred
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred
• 3 to 5 years of Emergency Room experience

Skill and Ability:

• Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices
• Physically able to perform the functions of the position
• ACLS certification required within six months of transition/hire
• PALS certification required within one year of transition/hire
• Hazmat training required
• Cardiac arrhythmia interpretation course required within six months
• Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned
