Job summary

Iowa Specialty Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time night position based in Clarion, IA, with flexibility to cover the Belmond ED location as needed. The role requires active Iowa RN licensure and current BLS/ACLS/PALSNRP/TNCC/AVADE certifications, with cross-training opportunities across departments.

The position offers a supportive team, with 1–2 twelve-hour night shifts weekly and holiday coverage on a rotating basis, emphasizing high-quality

Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license is required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, AVADE required or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled emergency nursing care in the ED.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Work in a 12-hour night shift pattern; 1–2 shifts per week; primary Clarion location with ability to cover Belmond ED.

• Every 3 rd Holiday
• This is a Clarion primary position with flexibility required to also work at the Belmond ED location.
• Candidate will work in the Emergency Department with the ability to cross train in other departments.

Qualifications:

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, AVADE certifications required (may be obtained within 6 months of hire)
