Job summary

MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, ME seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Emergency Department. The APP will perform rapid front-end evaluations with triage and collaborate with a team of 20 physicians and 7 PAs to provide timely care.

The role requires completion of an accredited APP program, Maine licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least 5 years ED experience. Compensation is hourly and includes comprehensive wellness and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited APP program.
• Active Maine Advanced Practitioner’s license.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in an ED setting.

Responsibilities
