Talent Pool: Certified Nursing Assistant
CNA, Nursing Tech, Nurse Tech, ED, Emergency, Moses Cone, Greensboro, Full time, part time
Supports patients with daily living tasks, including meals, personal care, and mobility to support recovery and care plans.
Assesses patients' quality of life related to nutrition, hydration, and elimination to allocate resources and anticipate needs.
Admits, transfers, and discharges patients to appropriate locations per care plans.
Assists with clinical procedures such as monitoring blood glucose, recording vital signs, obtaining EKGs, applying restraints, and attending to elimination needs to ensure patient comfort.
Maintains unit inventories of supplies and equipment to ensure a safe, clean environment aligned with safety goals.
Ensures fall-risk patients have appropriate identification and safety signage.
Documents all clinical procedures, patient interactions, and medication use for comprehensive records.
Responds promptly to delegation from registered nurses and shares observations for effective collaboration.
Performs other duties as assigned or reasonably required.
Education:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Required: None
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
Required: Nurse Aide Certification from North Carolina DHHR; BLS (CPR) from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
