Job summary

Advocate Health's Emergency Department in Wilkesboro is seeking a Nursing Assistant I to support patient care on a busy 24-bed unit. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and contribute to a collaborative, high-quality team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Nurse Aide I certification required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with nursing care under the direction of the RN.
• Perform procedures correctly under RN supervision.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff and facility.
• Communicate patient information clearly to the team, patients and families.
