Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assists in admission of patients to the unit and orientates them to the unit and equipment.
• Responds to patient needs with direct assistance or by reporting to the appropriate person.
• Assists with implementation of nursing plan of care through delegated tasks.
• Maintains patient safety and appropriate use of equipment and supplies.
• Maintains stocked, clean patient environment and assists in cost containment.
