Job summary

Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a Clinical Technician II to support the Emergency Dept. Under the direction of an RN, you will observe patients, deliver basic bedside care, monitor vitals, and assist with device checks.

The role requires a DC CNA license, a high school diploma or GED, BLS CPR certification, and at least 2 years of patient-care experience. The position is full-time, 36 hours/week, mid-shift including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current DC CNA license required.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.
• Minimum 2 years' patient-care experience.

Responsibilities

• Periodically checks patients, notes vital signs, and observes condition.
• Provides personal care for patient including hygiene and comfort.
• Performs bedside glucose monitoring and EKG tracing.
• Measures and records intake and output.
• Inserts and removes Foley catheters.
