Texas Health Resources, Inc. seeks a Unit Secretary for the Emergency Department in Allen, TX. This full-time night shift role supports physicians, staff and patients with clerical tasks in a fast-paced ED environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or Equivalent, no experience required, and CPI training within 90 days. Strong clerical and computer skills, plus solid verbal and written communication, are preferred.

• Must possess strong organization skills, and good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks to meet the needs of physicians, staff, patients and other customers.
• Interactions include consideration for patient population-specific needs.
• Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to schedule or workload changes.
• Demonstrates effective interpersonal communication with patients, families, coworkers, physicians and other customers.
• Serves as a patient advocate.
