Responsibilities

• Serve as central communication point between nursing staff and hospital personnel.
• Answer phones and call systems promptly and relay messages.
• Relay patient information and unit updates to the appropriate individuals.
• Notify nursing staff of STAT requests, new orders, and STAT reports.
