Responsibilities

• Follow department policies and safety guidelines.
• Assist RN with patient care including vital signs, procedures, and patient comfort.
• Help maintain ED supply levels and organize triage, orthopedic, eye, ENT, and airway carts.
• Assist with patient flow, room turnover, and transport to imaging and other departments.
• Perform phlebotomy and EKGs; orient new staff.
• Document in EMR accurately and timely; may initiate IV therapy if EMT-A qualified.
