Job summary

PIH Health is seeking an ED Support/Tech role to facilitate timely patient care under supervision. You will help maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with department operations in the Whittier facility.

Requirements include EKG setup, BLS certification, and training in phlebotomy or CNA/EMT credentials preferred. This on-site position offers day shift within 12401 Washington Blvd, Whittier, CA 90602.

Required Experience

Required:

• Minimal EKG knowledgeable to set-up and run 12-lead EKG (hospital to train)
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification
• Phlebotomy training/State certification to be obtained within 12 months of hire
• Non-violent crisis intervention training annually

Preferred:

• California state licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Certified Nurse Attendant (CNA)
• Acute general hospital experience either as an ED Tech, CNA or nursing student.
• Basic windows and mouse skills.
