Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (EDT) at Paoli Hospital. You will work with the interdisciplinary clinical team in a 38-bed unit, assisting with daily living, vital signs, Accu-Cheks, phlebotomy, IV insertions, EKGs, and nursing assistant duties.

Eligible for up to $6,000/year tuition reimbursement based on full/part-time status. Full-time schedule with opportunities to join hospital committees and councils.

Qualifications

• Vital signs assessment experience.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• IV access insertion experience preferred.
• EKG administration and nursing assistant tasks knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient daily living needs.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Perform Phlebotomy procedures as needed.
• Manage IV insertions and monitor patient status.
• Assist with EKGs and basic nursing tasks.

Emergency Department Technician EDT

Shifts available: 7p-7a OR 11a-11p

Experience:

• 1. Previous experience in delivery of patient services required.
• 2. Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• 3. Intravenous access insertion preferred.

Education:

• 1. Graduation from high school or equivalent required.
• 2. Some college preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:

• 1. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
• 2. EMT/EMT-P preferred.
