Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support daily living activities, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and help maintain a safe environment under RN supervision.

Requirements include a High School diploma, EMT or CNA certification, BLS within 30 days, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months in acute care. Full-time day shift 6:45 AM–7:15 PM, compensation $23.00–$26.75 hourly with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current EMT Certification or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), if required by the State
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Pay: $23.00 to $26.75

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $23.00 to $26.75. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
