Job summary

McLaren is seeking a capable team member to support the emergency department nursing and medical staff with patient care and clerical duties. The role involves direct patient care, specimen collection, and assisting with admissions and discharges.

Responsibilities include equipment inventory, IV initiation and discontinuation, room preparation, and aiding with monitors and wound care as needed in a busy ED setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months patient care experience in a health care delivery setting.
• Certification as an emergency medical technician (EMT), paramedic, medical assistant (MA), or certified nursing assistant (CNA).
• BLS certification.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Required
