Job summary

Holyoke Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to provide compassionate, precise care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. You will assist with patient care across age groups from pediatric to geriatric, and support ED operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Requirements include a high school diploma; one year of acute hospital experience preferred; phlebotomy training provided; BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• One year of acute experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Phlebotomy training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective care to ED patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.
• Assist with technical tasks in the Emergency Department across pediatric to geriatric patients.

Our team is seeking individuals to provide safe and effective care and technical assistance to patients in the Emergency Department under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. Scope of patient care services provided encompass age groups ranging from pediatric patients to adults, including geriatric and psychiatric patients.
